In 1977, the store was acquired by Ken and Ron Brown, fourth-generation San Franciscans, who transformed it into a unique destination for maritime antiques and collectibles, sparking a lifelong passion for preserving nautical history.

Now, in 2024, Frank’s Fisherman enters a new chapter under fresh ownership. While the helm has changed, our commitment to the maritime community and Fisherman’s Wharf tradition remains.
